Junior & Teen Actors of Ridgedale
Our Junior Actors of Ridgedale (“JAR”, ages 8-18) and Teen Actors of Ridgedale (“TAR”, ages 13-18, and must be in high school) theatre programs are designed for young people to improve and demonstrate their theatrical skills both on stage and off, while fostering lifelong friendships and community along the way. Young thespians will learn drama techniques, voice projection, music skills, choreography, proper stage terminology, and all aspects of how a production happens from start to finish. There are also opportunities for young people to learn sound and lighting, set building and decoration, props and stage management. Rehearsals are 2-3 days a week for 8-12 weeks.
Our productions are family-friendly, with 2-3 shows each season. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in mounting our JAR/TAR shows. It takes a village!
